Carrier’s latest system launch includes a redesigned air handler, a high-efficiency variable-speed heat pump, and two new smart thermostats, all engineered to meet rigorous standards such as SEER2, HSPF2, and ENERGY STAR®. Built for electrification and sustainability and with contractors in mind, the units feature adaptive controls, over-the-air updates, and InteliSenseTM remote diagnostics, helping provide worry-free operation for homeowners and streamlined service for professionals.
The next-gen Performance
Series Air Handler introduces a compact, installer-friendly design that is 20% shorter and about 50 pounds lighter than previous models, making it ideal for tight spaces. Its 25-speed operation and mixed-flow fan help maintain even temperatures while aiming to reduce energy use. InteliSense® technology enables remote monitoring and advanced troubleshooting, while maintenance is simplified with a standard 1-inch filter, LED status display, and sight glass. Built‑in Near Field Communication (NFC) allows technicians to set up and service the unit with a simple tap of their phone using the Carrier Service Tech app. Installers can also save their preferred configuration settings and instantly reuse them across multiple units, making multi‑housing or multi‑unit setups faster and more consistent.
The new Performance Series Variable Speed Heat Pump delivers up to 19.0 SEER2 cooling and 10.0 HSPF2 heating for year-round efficiency. Operating as quietly as 57 dBA, it’s built for extreme conditions with heating down to –10°F and cooling up to 125°F. When paired with a compatible Carrier Smart Thermostat, our patent-pending ComfortAdjustTM and InteliSense® technology provide adaptive performance, remote diagnostics, and secure software updates.
Carrier is also introducing a new line of smart thermostats featuring InteliSense® technology. The premium Carrier Smart Thermostat Advanced offers a bright touchscreen, guided setup, and seamless smart home integration, while the enhanced Carrier Smart Thermostat delivers simplicity and affordability with remote control, smart scheduling, and broad compatibility.
